What makes a great sales dashboard? It’s more than just clever visual design or the latest technology. In fact, sales reporting standards are evolving quickly with innovations in data accessibility, technology, and analytics. We’re hoping to capture a few new insights into business-to-business sales organizations’ reporting practices through our latest research initiative (and hope you’ll help by participating in the research):
Sales Performance Reporting –Usage and Practices
Sales performance reporting guides leadership’s decision making, and represents an important information management priority for many firms. This research investigates the use of performance reporting in business-to-business sales organizations, and identifies management priorities and best practices.
Research participants receive a copy of the research report once itâs completed in about two months. Weâll also send you our Dash Board Reporting Toolkit for completing the study questionnaire. It includes two papers from research underwriter Tableau Software, plus a webcast archive from LinkedIn that offers a case study on their own internal performance reporting efforts.
We’ll email you the toolkit after you complete the research survey (it takes about 8 minutes). The toolkit includes:
- âLeveraging Data to Drive Sales at LinkedInâ archived webcast
- â8 Tips for Better Sales Performance Dashboardsâ Tableau Software whitepaper
- â5 Charts Every Sales Leader Should Be Looking Atâ slide deck from Tableau Software
