How Do Sales Organizations Coach?

About This Research

Developed by Florida State University's Sales Institute in partnership with The Sales Management Association and The TAS Group, this research investigates various aspects of sales coaching within organizations. The survey is open to practicing sales leaders who coach or support a sales team. Research findings will form the basis of upcoming SMA content on coaching topics. Qualified survey participants will receive a comprehensive report of findings.

Incentive For Qualified Participants

Qualified survey respondents will be entered into a drawing for an Apple iPad.

To qualify for the special membership discount incentive, respondents must meet the following criteria:

  • Must directly manage salespeople or sales managers; or,
  • Must actively support coaching activities within a sales organization of no fewer than 10 sellers; or,
  • Must be the senior-most sales operations leader in their firm or division; or
  • Must be a C-level executive.

Participants Receive a Report of Findings

Each of our endorsed research initiatives provides participants with a Report of Findings once data collection and analysis are completed. Some research efforts result in additional Research Briefs or other materials published in the Sales Management Association’s Resource Library. For qualified participants who are not members, we provide complimentary access to these additional materials as well upon request.
