About Anthony Burkes
Anthony D. Burkes is vice president of corporate sales for Great Dane, a leading manufacturer of transportation and logistics equipment based in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, he is responsible for Great Dane’s corporate sales efforts.
Before joining Great Dane, Anthony was director of sales for AGCO, an Atlanta-based Fortune 500 company, and a leading global manufacturer of agriculture equipment. Before that, he spent eight years with Ford Motor Company in various sales and marketing positions between 2000 and 2008; most recently as president and CEO of Hub Ford Lincoln Mercury in Florence, South Carolina. At Hub Ford Lincoln Mercury, he led one of the largest minority-owned dealerships in the US with 65 employees and approximately $30M in revenue.
Anthony started his career at Cummins, where he served in a variety of engineering, sales, and marketing roles. A native of Starkville, Mississippi, Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Mississippi State University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
