Laura Lee Gentry is chief people officer at J.M. Huber Corporation, a portfolio management company providing industrial products and engineered materials solutions. Its operating companies — CP Kelco, Huber Engineered Materials, Huber Engineered Woods, and Huber Resources Corporation — hold leadership positions in rapidly growing markets such as specialty chemicals and minerals, hydrocolloids and engineered woods, and timber management.
Before joining J.M. Huber Laura Lee was chief people officer at Enboarder, an employee engagement platform, and before that, at Applied Systems. Earlier in her career she worked in a variety of senior leadership roles at Ultimate Software as vice president of talent and learning, and senior vice president, employee experience; as Anisa International’s Chief Operating Officer; in strategy and talent management at CSM Global; and as a partner and practice group leader at Egon Zehnder International.
She has served as a board member at Hands on Atlanta and Piedmont Park Conservancy, and currently serves as a member of the board of trustees at Downtown Atlanta Rotary’s Youth Services Foundation, and as a mentor at Pathbuilders, a one-on-one mentoring program for mid-level, high potential women recognized as having senior executive potential in their organizations.
An Atlanta native, she is a London Business School MBA and a graduate of University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business.
