Role & Compensation
The Great Lakes Sales Manager will be responsible for driving CleanFiber’s growth in the Great Lakes region, including conducting market research, developing relationships, and closing sales. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Great Lakes Regional Sales Manager will be a key contributor as CleanFiber looks to aggressively scale its business. We are looking for someone who will represent the CleanFiber brand exceptionally well and take pride in being an advocate for our customers. The Regional Sales Manager will routinely collaborate with our production, logistics, and account management teams to ensure a best-in-class process for customers from the initial introduction until an order is placed and arrives at the customer’s location.
Candidate must reside in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky or Tennessee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report to and work alongside CleanFiber’s VP of Sales to implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales goals.
- Leverage current and new sales strategies and methods to build relationships and further CleanFiber’s product adoption across the region.
- Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
- Maintain a pulse around market price, trends, and customer feedback
- Work with sales leadership and other internal teams to develop a plan to ensure sales targets are being met
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and differentiators to effectively educate and sell within the Great Lakes Regional market
- Monitor and alert the team to contract bid/renewal opportunities
- This role requires in-person customer visits and job-site training and development. In addition to remote customer and company communication.

- Experience Across a Range of Scales and Vantage Points: We are looking for a candidate who is familiar with the high paced environment of a disruptive startup but can understand the mindset of large and small counterparts as well as our customers who are grinding out pennies in mature industries and can help us with managing change throughout the customer relationship.
- Industry Knowledge: The right fit for this role will have experience within the building supply and materials industry within the Great Lakes region geographical region. An understanding of building practices and codes, as well as an understanding of sales and distribution channels, along with an existing network of relationships is strongly preferred.
Must-Have Experience:
- Experience in sales for a manufacturer
- Ability to leverage existing relationship to drive sales and adoption of CleanFiber’s products in a short amount of time

Compensation Rage: $100,000 – $140,000
Current commission plan is uncapped!
