Workshop: Insights into Sales Operations Practices

14 October 2015

FILED UNDER:

This session delves into the Sales Management Association’s inquiry into emerging practices, challenges, and trends related to sales operations. We define “sales operations” as a corporate function focused on sales force effectiveness. Many firms, however, use different names for this function. Common variations include sales effectiveness or sales excellence, commercial effectiveness or commercial excellence, or sales enablement? all refer to a dedicated function lending programmatic support for sales organization effectiveness.

Join us in a lively discussion on the role of sales operations practices where we will uncover insights on the following questions:

  • What are the core practices among sales operations departments?
  • How are sales operations leadership’s priorities changing for the coming year?
  • What is the impact of specific sales operations practices on sales performance?
  • What are the top level organizational reporting relationships for sales operations?
